Thailand's Economy Projected to Slow in H2 as Exports Face US Tariff Headwinds

Thailand's central bank projects a slowdown in the nation's economy for the remainder of 2025, primarily due to U.S. tariff policies impacting exports. Exports, a crucial economic driver, are expected to shrink by 4% annually in the second half of 2025 and remain contracted by 2% in 2026, driven by potential increases in U.S. import tariffs.
